We use “Loloma leather,” which is painstakingly produced from Japanese cowhide by Himeji craftsmen using only vegetable tannin. Using a process developed in a workshop in Asakusa, Tokyo that has been in continuous business since the Taisho Period, this leather is soaked in oil and wax so that it attains a beautiful luster on polishing. The design and production of the Cup Sleeve was undertaken by the designers and craftsmen of the creative group “621”. The details, such as its fine stitching as well as the feel and charm of the Loloma leather, are particularly prominent due to its simple styling.
